Made significant progress on the design and user experience foundations this week.

Design Overview

Created basic design overviews for the web application. This sets the visual direction for our platform and ensures we have a coherent look and feel across all features.

Tech Stack Decisions

Finalized our technology stack. Having clear technical direction allows us to build consistently and make architectural decisions with confidence.

UX Flow Design

Designed user experience flows for critical campaign activities:

  • Event creation - how organizers create and manage events
  • Canvass event activities - workflows for door-to-door canvassing
  • Get out the vote (GOTV) activities - voter mobilization workflows

These flows help ensure campaign staff can effectively use the platform in the field.

Cross-Platform Consistency

This design work enables me to go back to the mobile app and push a common look and feel. Unified design across web and mobile creates a better experience for users working across platforms.
