Dashboard Overview

The Analytics dashboard gives you a live view of how your campaign is performing. As soon as you log in, you can see summary numbers at a glance — total contacts reached, volunteer hours logged, activities completed, and how those figures compare to your goals. Charts update automatically as your team records activity in the field.

You can filter the dashboard by campaign, date range, activity type, or geographic area. This lets you quickly focus on a specific time period or part of your operation without wading through unrelated data.

Custom Reports

For a deeper look at your data, use the Reports section to build custom reports tailored to your needs. Select the metrics you want to measure, choose your date range, and apply any filters. Winning Ground will generate a clear, readable report you can review on screen or share with your leadership team.

Available metrics include:

• Volunteer engagement: Hours worked, shifts attended, activities completed, and volunteer retention over time.
• Campaign reach and effectiveness: Contacts made, doors knocked, calls completed, and conversations recorded per activity.
• Contact growth over time: How your supporter and contact list has grown across the life of a campaign.
• Geographic distribution: A map view showing where your outreach efforts are concentrated and which areas may need more attention.

Data Export

Any report or dashboard view can be exported for use outside of Winning Ground. Click the Export button at the top of any report and choose your preferred format — spreadsheet (CSV) or PDF. Spreadsheet exports are useful for further analysis in tools like Excel or Google Sheets, while PDF exports are great for sharing formatted summaries in meetings or with stakeholders who do not have access to the platform.

Exports include all the data currently shown on screen, respecting whatever filters and date ranges you have selected. You can schedule recurring exports to be delivered to your email on a weekly or monthly basis from the report settings menu.
